Winters are already on the door step, and the skin is starting to loose its elasticity. Our skin requires a good care to prevent it from getting rough and scaly, by the inclement weather. You need some winter tips to overcome this problem.
During winters, your skin becomes dry and needs the touch of mild soaps. Strong chemical soaps tend to absorb the moisture from the skin, which can add on to the problems of dryness. After taking bath, apply body moisturizers or lotions on a daily basis. Provide your body with fatty acids and organic body oils. You can go for body massage twice a month. This will keep your body winter proof. Use a thick Greece on the harder parts of the body, like ankles and knees. After the waxing process, apply a good amount of moisturizers as our skin becomes all the more vulnerable and gets cracked off very soon.
For the face care, wash your face with a mixture of Alovera pulp and honey. It will supply your face with enough moisture and body oils. You also need to give your face a post bath massage regularly. Also reapply the cream every time you wash your face, during the day. Facials help to retain the glow of the skin. Get yourself massaged as the season approaches. You can surely increase your massage sittings. Winters bring along the problem of chapped lips. You need to smooth your lips with lip balm. Give this greasy touch to your lips, twice a day. You might not be having chapped lips, but it is certainly the need of the season.
This season brings the problem of dandruff and scratchy scalp. Your scalp skin needs a touch of grease too. Massage your scalp with a good coconut oil, twice a week. If you have a very dry skin, then you can wash your scalp with curd. This will give you enough moisture for around a week. Avoid using shampoo more than once a week. You can use conditioners to keep your hair healthy and in a good shape.
