Preventing Body Odour
Body odor could be an indication of unhealthy and unclean sanitary practices. It may result out of bacterial action on the body parts that are more prone to sweating. Most of the times, it could also be the normal bodily reaction to heat, harsh sunlight, sweating due to hot and humid weather and so on.
Any individual facing body odor problem may feel unclean about him/herself and may also be anxious about physical proximity with others. There could be a sense of embarrassment that a person passing by or who is in touch with you may get a whiff and think poorly about you.
Body odor can be get rid of by using various natural or cosmetic products, and by following proper sanitary practices. Bathing in the morning is a must. This not only refreshes the mind and body, but also removes the dead skin, dirt and grime, and accumulated sweat that may lead to emanation of foul smell.
If you do not have the time to bath or have to skip it for any reason, apply a deodorant or perfume which has long lasting freshness and fragrance. Carry it with you so that you can apply again wherever you go when you sense that body odor is emanating.
Now a days deodorants with anti bacterial properties are available that can help in reducing their action and prevent foul smell. You may also use an anti bacterial soap so that it keeps the bacterial activity under control.
While bathing you may add body gel or drops with strong fragrances so that it remains throughout the day. Adding drops of rose water or lavender extract to bathing water can help. If possible, you may also add rosemary extract or white vinegar to bathing water for similar impact.
Do not wear unwashed unclean clothes. This can be a source of stale damp odour that sometimes emanates. At the same time change clothes if they are wet, as wet clothes can also emit a typical odour.
