Need Exercise? Face the Facts!

Your face is the first part of your body that the world sees, and it is our duty to make sure that the face is ready to, so to speak, face the world. And hence the need to keep our faces looking at their stress-free and youngest best. A good laugh is the best way to relax a tense face. But here we will talk about some facial exercises which will help to tone the face muscles quickly and effectively.

1. The first exercise is to scrunch up your whole face for a few seconds so that your nose is wrinkled. Your forehead should be furrowed and your eyes and mouth are tightly closed. This will make sure to release all the tension off your face.

2. The next thing that you can do is to open your mouth and eyes as wide as you can. This is the exact opposite of what you have done earlier. It helps you maintain the elasticity of the facial muscles.

3. Now close your mouth, purse your lips, and push your mouth up to the left and then push to the right. This is the bet exercise to help the area around the mouth.

4. As I have already mentioned earlier, laughing is the best way to exercise your tensed face. So grin – as if from ear to ear – and open your eyes wide again.

5. You should repeat the grin, but this time, tuck in your chin to tighten your neck muscles. This not only exercises the facial muscles but also the sensitive neck muscles.

6. Well, another great way to exercise your face is to chew some gum. It exercises the muscles of the face and neck and increases blood circulation.

These are some of the simple exercises that can keep your face elastic and stress-free. This does not take any more time then say, 5 to 7 minutes but it is extremely effective. In case you are too conscious that you might look foolish scrunching up your face in public, you can try doing these exercises when having your shower.
