Massage For Babies
Massage is essential for a child’s proper physical development. It strengthens the bones. And is a must for a child’s fitness. Massaging a child involves a technique. Follow the suggested precautions and guidelines, while giving a touch of pampered massaging to your baby.
Make a check list of all the essentials. Things that you need to have, while giving a health boosting massage are these.
-Have a warm and soft towel.
-Nappy and a clean set of cloths.
-A warm and clean spreading.
It is the winter season. To save your child from cold, choose a room which is well shut and warm. Have little and soothing lighting in the room. This will be sleep inspiring. Make sure you do not massage the child right after it has had its food, or is going through any sort of physical discomfort.
To start the massaging, take your child in the room, and spread a cozy spreading on the bed. Take out your baby’s cloths to massage. You can keep those body parts covered with a soft towel, while you are not massaging at the moment. This will save the child from cold. Use body oil on the whole of the body. Move your hands in circular motions and stretch a bit. This stretch should be carried very delicately. Give a soft pull to the limbs, and slip the hand away. Use a light hand on your child’s body, as its body is really tender.
Finish off with giving comforting exercise to the child’s limbs. You can move the limbs in cyclic motion. Wrap it in the towel, and cuddle the baby. This will induce sleep. Then you can wrap the nappy, and cover it in comfortable clothing. Take the baby in arms, and give a few pat on the back. All this exercise will tire the child, and your child will fall in a sweet sleep.
