What do you feel about summer? Many wait enthusiastically for the summer to come, as they can plan beach vacations, pool parties and flaunt the best in their wardrobe as well. But, all are not lucky to get extended holidays for holidaying in beach or resort. For them, summer becomes unbearable with scorching heat, sweat, body odour, and skin problems due to heat. Here are certain tips, which you can use to make hot summer a cool affair and enjoy the season, even if you are not holidaying in a seaside resort.
Keep body temperature at low: In summer, the temperature will soar high, which is not under your control. However, you can bring down the temperature of your body through various means. To keep yourself cool, have loads of cold water throughout the day. In between you can squeeze a fresh lemon into water and have it. However, you should avoid having extremely cold water after coming from sun. You can also rely upon shakes from various fruits, cool custard and juice. I usually insist such things to be made at home, as the available readymade packed drinks cannot be called healthy.
Don’t forget to shade yourself: Try to avoid coming in direct contact with the harsh sun rays. To achieve this purpose, carry an umbrella or wear caps and sun glasses. Yes, application of sun block lotion on face is not enough because head and hair should also be protected from sun.
Smell fresh: Try to smell fresh, which will make you feel fresh. When its about fresh smell, I am not asking you to spray deodorant or use perfume to diffuse the bad odour. Rather, you should keep yourself clean and hygienic as much as possible, so that you can get rid of the bacteria that create the smell. And, now you can use a mild deodorant or perfume to smell your best.
Say no to junk food: I think I don’t have to tell you that junk food should be strictly avoided in summer. Junk foods are difficult to digest and that imbalances the body heat. Even, you should avoid having too many cups of coffee or colas.
