How to Have an Impressive Personality
Personality creates the first impression about you, and many people form their opinion and draw judgments depending upon the first impression they form. Your manners, your style, your dressing sense, your appearance, expressions, gait, confidence all comprises your personality.
A person with an attractive and pleasant personality creates a good impression among people he/she interacts with, and has a good chance of succeeding at job interviews, getting the desired partner, making social contacts etc.
To have a good personality your outward and inward qualities, both have to be good. Your outward personality comprises of your dressing, the way you talk, walk, your manners, your expressions, appearance, body language, posture and manner of interaction with people.
Inner qualities like confidence, courage, good level of self esteem, positive self image, politeness, maturity, understanding, wisdom and humour also have outward manifestation while you interact with people, and it also colors your personality.
Work on grooming yourself well. Take care and effort to have a pleasant, cheerful and positive aura about yourself. Dress in clothes that bring out your personality rather than subdue it. Be comfortable in your style of dressing, hairdo and appearance. To become attractive you do not have to wear clothes or dress up in a way that catches attention, you only need to dress up in a way that will enhance and bring out your personality.
Keep your body language positive and open. Do not fumble, play with your hands, shake your legs or cross your hands across the chest while interacting with people. It may give an impression that you are restless, uninterested, reserved or closed person, or not confident about yourself.
Your facial expressions and appearance also impact your personality. Have an open, enthusiastic, cheerful and pleasant appearance. Appearing serious, unhappy, dull, bored, sleepy, or appearing over confident and superior can put off people.
Be humble but confident, polite but courageous, and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
