People with oily skin face numerous skin problems. The most irritating part about oily skin is the daily maintenance it needs. However, oily skin has numerous advantages too. Yes, people, who have oily skin, get wrinkles very late in their life, comparing to people with dry skin. The oily skin can be a blessing in disguise, if you can afford some time to take special care of it. I would rather advise you to consider your oily skin as an asset. In the following, you will find some tips on how to take care of oily skin daily so that people will envy your skin.
Washing is must
You must wash your face twice or thrice a day. For washing, you should use plenty of cold water and a soap containing minimum harsh chemicals. Washing is necessary for oily skin but do not go for excessive washing. Or else, it will take away the natural oil from your skin leaving its pores clogged and that can eventually lead to acne breakout.
No cream based cleanser
If you have the habit of cleansing your face with cleansing creams then make sure that it should not be heavily cream based. Rather choose a cleanser with Aloe Vera or a medicated anti bacterial cleansing lotion. Many use lotions containing alcohol to get rid of the oily skin worries. However, it is not good for your skin.
Avoid moisturizer
Moisturizer is not a good option for people with oily skin. Avoid using any kind of moisturizer. If you need a moisturizer then make sure it should be oil free. Rather, you can try using clay mask, which is good for sensitive skin.
Take care of your diet
One of the most effective ways to deal with oily skin is to have a healthy diet, which should contain lots of leafy vegetables, green vegetables, fruits and loads of water. Try to reduce the amount of sugar and salt everyday you eat.
