How Far Should You Go on the First Date?
Excited about your first date? Want to be at your best? Well, we all want that, don’t we? But more often than not, we do something which might be interpreted in the wrong way. We belong to today’s generation and are pretty “cool” about so many things. But are we really sure of how far to go on the first date? Since we are smart people, let’s talk about the pros and cons of the matter.
You have had an amazing evening with your date and hit it off to a great start. So, now it’s the time to say goodnight, so what do you do? It’s actually a matter of personal choice as to what should you do. For a lot of people the first date is the base and they don’t want to do anything they might regret later on that particular day but some are more adventuresome and might go all the way. But maybe if you just play it a bit cool on the first date, it will just intensify the experience and feeling of wanting and therefore gives to the relationship to last.
If you decide to go all the way on your first date itself, you should know the advantages and disadvantages of it. The major advantage of having sex on the first date is to let you know if you guys are sexually compatible or not. Believe you me, a lot of relationships fail due to the sexual incompatibility of the partners. So, what could be better than knowing on the first date itself if you guys are fine between the sheets?
But having sex on the first date has its disadvantages too. If you guys are not careful enough, you might end up with an unwanted pregnancy, which can be the worst thing to happen under such circumstances. Secondly, such an act can tie you to a relationship which might not be exactly what you had in mind. Thirdly, if the word gets around, it will not be a very good thing for your reputation.
Having said this, it should be a personal decision about what you actually want to do. You need to weigh the pros and cons accurately and make sure you know what you are doing. Enjoy your date, but more so enjoy your life – and you are obviously the best judge of what you really want.
