Sleeping during pregnancy can be really difficult. More shall be so with the growing months. As your bulk increases, you need to pay a good attention to the body poster you take while sleeping. A wrong poster can really be painful in making a mid night move of your body, or when you wake up in the morning. With the growing months, you can also face breathing problem while sleeping, if a proper bed position is not observed.
It is good to sleep on the right side of your body. It will enable a good flow of blood into the part where the baby is growing. This can also be helpful in avoiding the pain. Lean on your left side and share the weight of your body with a cushion. Let the cushion bear the weight of your body. This will relieve you from the pain of managing the weight of your body on your own.
On the other hand, lying straight on the back can be really painful. This can cause back ache in the morning. Lying on the back forces the pressure of the stomach on the back, which can lead to back ache problem. And if you still want a comforting sleep on your back only, then you can stuff the gap between your back and the bed with a cushion. This will give you a restful night and a painless morning.
With the augmentation in the growth of the child, the body also raises in the bulk. To support your body, you can use soft bolsters. Keep them at your side, and rest the weight of your body on them. You can also use cushions at all the places where you need to prop up your body.
Sleep during pregnancy can be a real problem sometimes. But do not resort to unnatural ways of inspiring sleep, like having sleeping pills. This can be dangerous, both for you as well as your child. You can listen to soft and comforting music, which will inspire a good sleep in you. It will be great, if you can get a good massage before going to bed. This will prove to be a good support in maintaining a good health and having a soundless sleep at night.
